Review:

This comic just proves that the Street Fighter series has strong characters and do not need main characters such as Ryu or Chun-Li to make it great. Ryu and Chun-Li are not present in the core of this issue and it still is a great comic! Though, either I'm really naive, or stupid, (probably the latter), but I was dumbfounded with Gibson being an imposter. Now, you know, Udon is a self-published company now, they spent a long time rebuilding themselves so that they wouldn't be on such a hard schedule...but they always seem to rush storylines. They could have easily embarked on all the dolls past history but instantly in a flash of a panel, have Rose release them of their brainwashing. Meh...I guess it's understandable, they really had nothing to work with...I guess they didn't take Cammy's SFA3 ending as canon to the dolls. Four stars.

The backup issue is a part two of an earlier backup story. I enjoyed this one as it did continue it somehow. Having no basis to work off, creating back stories like these are truly amazing. Tip off my hat to Ken.
