Cover Opinion:
This cover really makes sense to me. Every character featured on the cover, is actually in it! That's quite the joy. The dark color scheme that is used in this cover is nice also.

Cover: B
Print: First Print

Cover Opinion:
A Female-Group of the main girls from Street Fighter. Only problem, Elena and Ibuki won't even show until Street Fighter III. However, not a bad cover, there is something drawn in the eyes that make it look superb.
Artist: Jo Chen
Cover: Power Foil
Print: Special Edition Limited
Cover Opinion:
Another 4-Star cover. This one shows Bison and one of his signature moves! What a great cover, except...Bison isn't even really in this comic. I guess they're random, the last two made sense.

Introduction: Starting with a dream fight scene, is there any other way to define Street Fighter without the fighting? Amazing start again. Going back to where the last comic left off, we see a long story focused on Vega and Ken. With a minor focus on Guile and Chun-Li. Who will be the victor of the battle?

Synopsis: Master Gouken's Dojo, Ryu dreams of completely obliterating Ken. Waking up quickly, he realizes it was only a dream. Akuma senses the power of the Ryu and is shown to take Gouken's beads. In Shibuya, Vega bumps into Eliza and hands her back her scarf. Secretly, he puts a tracking device on it. In the Japanese Airport, Chun-Li and Guile are seen leaving, with Juni reporting to Bison on the whereabouts of what she heard. Eliza is in her hotel alone, waiting for Ken, when Vega shows up. Ken rushes in and the battle between Vega and Ken begins. Vega is able to slash Eliza close to the neck, and Ken gives a rage attack of the "Tatsumaki-Senpu-Kyaku." Shadow is seen to have targeted Ken, but Bison relocates him to somewhere else. At the Central Hospital, Eliza and Ken discuss how Ken almost lost Eliza again. Not wanting it to happen ever again. Eliza tells Ken to go after Ryu to make sure he'll be okay. As Chun-Li and Guile are on their way to Master Gouken's dojo, Guile spots who he believes is Charlie. Guile runs after Charlie and so does Chun-Li. Chun-Li gets hurt with a Sonic Boom. Quickly rising from the attack, she notices Charlie. Who calls himself "Shadaloo Agent Shadow"

Back-Up Issue Synopsis: The US Martial Arts Tournament. A fight between Ken and Zangief takes place. Ken begins to think a lot about Eliza and loses focus on the battle. Remembering that Eliza left him because he was a fighter, Ken continues to lose focus. That is, until Eliza is seen in the audience. With new fierce spirit, he defeats Zangief and becomes the winner of the US Martial Arts Tournament. Eliza is then seen with the wedding ring on her finger again and tells Ken that she fell in love with a fighter.

Shadow (Shadaloo Charlie)

Conclusion:
It seems to be clear and evident, that the Street Fighter comics are set to 18 main pages per comic. Not bad at all, because these comics give no filler talk, everything goes straight to the point. Action is bound to be on almost every page! The storyline advances at a slower rate with this comic book as it focuses a lot more on the relationship between Ken and Eliza than anything else.

This comic book is a definite four-star. It is amazing. The fight scene is one to remember. It seems though, that being in a hotel room alone has already been seen. Where have we seen this you wonder? Well where else? The Street Fighter II: Animated Movie. Instead, it seems to use similar-like appearance to the Chun-Li/Vega battle, except that Eliza isn't a fighter. So Ken comes in to fight. Vega's words are a little reminiscent of the movie also, but then again, Vega is known for that type of personality. Good thing Udon didn't change that.

Using Shadow in the storyline has really bitten me a little bit. While not completely a bad thing, Shadow isn't even a part of the canon. However, to give a sequential storyline, Shadow in the storyline seems to be a thoughtful choice. At least Udon didn't make up an entire new character, just one that Capcom themselves made. One other critique, a Sonic Boom is big diameter, not a fireball. Yet we see it as a fireball. Regardless, this issue is of top quality and is the first 4-star comic. The storyline doesn't advance quickly allowing you to get a full spectrum of the relationship between Ken and Eliza.
